I had the opportunity to join my fellow marketers from hnwmarketing.com for this Winter’s Las Vegas Furniture Show. I was also part of the show as an industry buyer and found unique dining settings I could not find in stores nearby. The companies brought in their latest designs of home furnishing and interior decorating. Display rooms were aesthetically pleasing and catering was impressive.
My take: in order to stand out as a showroom and not look like a vendor from the County Fair, you must remember, less is more.
Simplicity is design’s best friend if you are willing to risk reducing the amount of inventory you showcase. This year I was enamored by a simple display room with empty space that caught my eye . They featured a gifted artist who was on site for questions and happy to take photos. The showroom manager was charismatic and engaging as well.
While I observed their space all I could hear was Plato’s quote, “Beauty of style and harmony and grace and good rhythm depend on simplicity”.

I will definitely be coming back for more of Las Vegas World Market shows. I was pleased and impressed with the latest selections of items available in our growing interior design market.
